Bell Nursery in the Wall Street Journal

A story in the Wall Street Journal on the contract system at Bell Nursery and some of the growers in the system.

And interesting quote:
The Raleys still farm corn and hay and raise a few Angus cattle, but these days the flowers seem to hold the most promise for a regular payday.
Good to hear. The Raleys used to grow tobacco, but that's a crop that doesn't pay like it used to.
